REHVA Young Scientist Award 2010

Stefano Schiavon , dopo aver conseguito il Dottorato di ricerca in Energetica, con il titolo di Doctor Europaeus, presso questo Dipartimento, è attualmente postdoctoral scholar presso il Center for the Built Environment - UC Berkeley.

Ha ricevuto il premio "REHVA Young Scientist Award 2010" per la sua ricerca sul risparmio energetico utilizzando la ventilazione personalizzata e l'aumento della velocita' dell'aria vicino agli occupanti.

La ricerca e' stata svolta sotto la supervisione del prof. R. Zecchin (DFT) e la co-supervisione da parte dei professori A. Melikov (ICIEE-DTU) e X. Li  (Tsinghua).

Stefano Schiavon , after achieving the PhD in Energy for Buildings, with the title of Doctor Europaeus, at this Department, is now postdoctoral scholar at the Center for the Built Environment - UC Berkeley.

He won the "REHVA Young Scientist Award 2010" for his research on energy savings with personalized ventilation (or personal environmental control system) and increased air movement around occupants.

His PhD work has been mentored by professor R. Zecchin (DFT) with the co-supervision of professors  A. Melikov (ICIEE-DTU) and X. Li  (Tsinghua).
